Caving under pressure from anti-choice groups, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the United States’ most famous breast cancer charity, has pulled its grants for breast cancer screening from Planned Parenthood. Komen grants totaled roughly $680,000 last year, and $580,000 the year before. Over the past five years, Planned Parenthood has used this funding to provide almost 170,000 breast exams and 6,400 mammogram referrals.

Planned Parenthood has established a Breast Health Emergency Fund to provide immediate funding to ensure that their health centers can continue providing care. You can donate to Planned Parenthood here.
