Using any sort of -ism or words that supports bigoted sentiments has nothing to do with “what [I] wanna to hear”, it has to due with perpetuating a culture and sentiment in which certain people are consider “lesser”, “bad”, “undesirable”. By using the word retard as an insult you are telling those with certain disabilities that they are an insult, they are lesser, they are something no one wants to be. Do you have any idea how harmful that is? Obviously you don’t, or you don’t seem to care enough about others.

And I’m glad we can agree on this, that was the whole point I was making in that Monster High isn’t a target for young people to aim for because it’s pretty obviously fictional. But you could have gotten your point across in a totally non-bigoted way.
