Stupid Stupid Money Problems
It’s not just romantic relationships. I’ve been on both sides of this with lovers, friends, relatives. It’s not that anyone has overly expensive tastes or is too concerned with money or anything. You just never think about how often money comes up until you have to watch every penny. It’s not a fun situation to be in.
That is EXACTLY how I view every social situation that requires more than hanging out at someone’s house.
This used to be my boyfriend and I a lot- at least from my end, I can’t speak for him. Things have definitely gotten better now but it’s probably going to go back to this as soon as we move in together.
